By using Bacuri, you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the app.
2. About Bacuri
Bacuri helps you track your meals and nutrition through a food diary, scan nutrition labels with your camera, generate and follow recipes, build shopping lists, track water intake, and monitor your progress, goals, and streaks. Some features are also available through widgets and Live Activities.
3. Health Disclaimer
Bacuri is for informational purposes only and is not a medical device. Nutritional values, calorie targets, and progress estimates are approximations and may contain inaccuracies. The app does not provide medical, nutritional, or professional advice. Always consult a physician or registered dietitian before starting any diet or making health-related decisions.
4. AI-Generated Content
Features such as recipe generation and nutrition label scanning use Apple Intelligence and run directly on your device. AI-generated results — including recipes, ingredients, and nutritional values extracted from labels — may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always review and verify this information before relying on it, especially if you have allergies or dietary restrictions.
5. Apple Health
Bacuri can optionally connect to Apple Health to read and write health data, such as nutrition and weight. This integration only happens with your explicit permission, and you can revoke access at any time in your device settings.
6. Your Data
Your data is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud account, synced across your devices using the same iCloud account. We do not collect or share your data with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details. You are responsible for keeping your iCloud account active to preserve your data and sync.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the app only for lawful and personal purposes. You may not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the app or its content.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect new features or legal requirements. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
